FAZAIA EDUCATIONAL WELFARE SCHEME (FEWS)

Applications are invited for Need-based and Merit-based scholarships from children of PAF personnel who have obtained admission at Master’s/ Bachelor’s level in any discipline in HEC recognised colleges I universities in year 2013-14. Applications duly filled on the prescribed forms must reach DD Edu (FEWS), Dte of Edu, AHQ Peshawar by 16 May, 2014.
Merit-Based Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria:
Merit-Based Scholarships

• Children of serving/retired PAF officers/airmen/civilians.
• For Master’s Level Programme, must have obtained minimum 65% or above marks in Bachelor’s or equivalent examination.
• For Bachelor’s Level Programme, must have obtained minimum 70% or above marks in HSSC or equivalent examination.

Need-Based Scholarships

• Children of serving/retired/deceased PAF officers/ airmen/ civilians.
• Children of retired PAF officers/airmen/civilians whose parents have debilitating sickness preventing them from active work.
• Disabled I ’special’ children of retired PAF officers/ airmen/ civilians.
• Children of serving/retired PAF officers/airmen/civilians having special / terminally sick children/parents who pose extra financial burden on the family.

Note: Application forms (Merit Based and Need Based) are available on PAF Website/ Intranet, SF Website and at all PAF bases(Edu Sqns). Incomplete applications and those received after due date will not be entertained.
