The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results of the CSS 2023 written examination. Out of 13,008 candidates who appeared for the exam, 398 have passed. This means that the pass percentage is 3.06%.
The CSS exam is one of the most competitive exams in Pakistan, and it is a gateway to a career in the civil service. The exam is conducted in three stages: written, viva voce, and medical examination. Candidates who pass the written exam are called for a viva voce interview. Those who pass the viva voce interview are called for a medical examination.
The CSS exam is a challenging exam, but it is also a rewarding one. Civil servants play a vital role in the development of Pakistan, and they have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people.
Short Analysis of the Result
The pass percentage of the CSS 2023 written exam is lower than the previous year. In 2022, the pass percentage was 3.17%. This could be due to a number of factors, such as the increased difficulty of the exam or the decreased number of candidates who appeared for the exam.
It is also worth noting that the number of candidates who applied for the CSS exam has decreased in recent years. In 2023, 28,024 candidates applied for the exam, down from 33,174 candidates in 2022. This could be due to a number of factors, such as the economic downturn or the increasing competition for jobs in the private sector.
Despite the challenges, the CSS exam remains a popular choice for many young Pakistanis. It is an opportunity to serve the country and to make a difference in the lives of people.
Congratulations to all the candidates who have passed the CSS 2023 written exam!
