Vamia Upcoming Application Periods for Mechanical Fitter, Machinist, Plater-Welder, Cook, and Waiter/Waitress

Vamia, a vocational college in Finland, is now accepting applications for its upcoming programs in mechanical engineering, machining, welding, cooking, and waiting. The application periods are as follows:

• Mechanical Fitter: December 2024 for studies starting in August 2025.
• Machinist: December 2025 for studies starting in August 2026.
• Plater-Welder: December 2026 for studies starting in August 2027.
• Cook: December 2023 for studies starting in August 2024.
• Waiter/Waitress: December 2023 for studies starting in August 2024.

How to Apply for Vamia Vocational Programs

To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age when studies start.
• Have a qualification equivalent to Finnish basic Education of nine years.
• Have a minimum Duolingo English Test score of 85.
• Have enough funds for living expenses.
• Be in good physical condition.
• Have a valid passport.
